A new project for the boatbuilding team

The museum boat building team are a respected centre for restoration, conservation and repair of historical vessels.

Their latest project is the steam launch “Emma”. These pictures show the team moving her onto a trolley for ease of working on the hull. At the moment the team doesn’t know her builder or when she was built, although they do have a fairly extensive history file – so watch out for updates on the museum boat building team’s Facebook page.

The steam engine is being rebuilt and is thought to be a 1902 design, with a best guess of “Emma’s” build date around the same time.
