This summer National Maritime Museum Cornwall is taking to the high seas and offering visitors the chance to hop on board one of the museum’s heritage boats, Jonik, for a guided trip around the Carrick Roads.
It’s a truly special experience with just eight other passengers plus two crew and takes in key Falmouth landmarks as well as exploring the town’s fascinating maritime history. Drink in breathtaking views and discover a different way to explore the coastline.
Jonik is a real boating gem and was built in 1934 in Fowey by Percy Clemens and was donated to the museum by the grandson of the original owner. After careful and meticulous restoration Jonik is now ready for a new life at sea.
