Transit of Venus

Trail

The trails start at 11.30, 1.30 and 3.30, meeting in the Museum’s Main Hall. Each tour lasts an hour.

Offering a special tour around the Museum, Mayes Creative will be here to explain how Venus and the Sun helped answer this enormous question over 250 years ago.

On your journey around the Solar System you’ll uncover some of the mysteries of the Universe and see how travel by sea led to a better understanding of space.
