Water Safety Weekend 2020

Four lifeguards - two male and two female - run across a sandy beach towards the camera.

With awesome demonstrations and games, learn the techniques that can help keep you safe in the water and discover more about the RNLI’s important work. Meet and talk with real RNLI lifeguards, uncover the history behind the charity and climb aboard lifesaving vehicles in the RNLI Rescue Zone.

Make and Take

This weekend’s Make and Take workshops are inspired by the work the RNLI do. Join us for a crafty project fit for a hero, and take your masterpiece home with you at the end of the day.

Search the Museum far and wide to complete our RNLI trail. Keep those eyes peeled!

What else is here

15 galleries over five floors, jump aboard boats, 100-foot Lookout Tower, Boatbuilding Workshop, underwater Tidal Zone, ocean adventure and survival stories and so much more!

It’s free!

The Water Safety Weekend with the RNLI is FREE as part of the Museum’s annual admission fee. Pay once and get in free for a year.
