National Maritime Museum Cornwall will be closed Tuesday 1 – Thursday 17 June 2021, reopening Friday 18 June.
You will have heard by now that the G7 Leader’s Summit is coming to Cornwall in June, and the Museum has been asked to play its part.
National Maritime Museum Cornwall will become the International Media Centre for the Summit which means that throughout the weekend the Museum, and Falmouth, will be home to journalists and other media professionals from the UK and across the world.
It really is a great honour to have been selected to help represent Cornwall, and indeed the United Kingdom. We are thrilled to be a part of it and look forward to sharing our wonderful Museum with media representatives from the G7 nations, and beyond.
It does mean that the Museum is closed from Tuesday 1 – Thursday 17th June, reopening on Friday 18th June. Maritime Car Park and Grove Place Car Park will be closed from Thursday 27 May.
