NMMC Shortlisted for Best Online Shop at the Cultural Enterprises Awards 2024

We’ve been named among the finalists in the Best Online Shop category at the Cultural Enterprises Awards 2024 and are up against some cultural titans.

Our Online Shop launched in October 2023 and showcases many of the much-loved collections found in the Museum’s Gift Shop. From fascinating books to children’s toys, stylish clothing, and model boats, it features a wide variety of gifts and keepsakes – many of which are bespoke and sourced from artists and suppliers across Cornwall.

What’s more, every purchase helps fund the important work we do at the Museum, enhancing everything from educational programmes to conservation efforts and research activities.

The Cultural Enterprises Awards celebrate and showcase best practice in cultural income generation. The Awards cover all areas of commercial activity across 12 categories including retail, catering, publishing and events.

All types and sizes of organisations from across the UK are represented among the finalists, from the Natural History Museum, Historic Royal Palaces and the National Portrait Gallery to smaller venues like Kettle’s Yard, Little Angel Theatre and The Deep, as well as the National Trust, RNLI and National Trust for Scotland.

All shortlisted entries will be showcased at the Cultural Enterprises Conference at ICC Wales on 13-14 March, where the winners will be revealed at the Awards Dinner. You can find out more about the awards here and visit our online shop here.
