Ocean Lab

Curious minds of all ages are invited to Ocean Lab, our new week of science over February half term. Dive into Discovering 42’s Mobile Marvels Exhibition, make a fizzy whizzy rocket, use a robot to create your own unique artwork and go exploring in the trail.

Monday 16 – Friday 20 February, 10am – 4.30pm

Dive into hands-on exhibits, mind-bending experiments and weird science with Discovering 42. Navigate a giant mechanical maze, experiment with cymatics, and even use your body to complete an electrical circuit – plus lots more!

Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 February, 11am – 2pm
Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 February, 11am – 2pm

Explore the science of lift-off and make your own DIY rocket using bicarbonate of soda to create a safe, fizz-powered rocket right here in the Museum!

Every day, 12.30pm to 3.30pm (last entry 3.15pm)

Bring the whole family together to decorate your own little robot. Then watch your creations come to life as the Scribblebots buzz and wiggle across the page, making playful artistic drawings as they go.
