At the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, we’re delighted to be partnering with Cornwall Council Libraries on their new loyalty card scheme, launching to reward regular library users and welcome new members.
Why We’re Getting Involved
Libraries and museums share a fundamental mission: to inspire learning, preserve stories, and bring communities together. Just as we open doors to Cornwall’s maritime heritage, libraries provide gateways to endless worlds through books, digital resources, and community activities.
We believe in supporting initiatives that encourage Cornish residents of all ages to engage with local cultural and educational resources. The library loyalty scheme does that, while recognising and celebrating the role libraries play in our communities.
How the Scheme Works
Cornwall residents can collect stamps by taking part in various library activities. Once you’ve collected six stamps, you’ll be entered into monthly prize draws featuring passes and treats from local businesses and attractions including a family pass to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
A Community Effort
We’re proud to join fellow organisations including The National Trust, local cinemas, and others in supporting this scheme, sharing a commitment to enriching lives through culture, learning, and connection.
The scheme runs in six-month periods (January–June and July–December), with new card designs for each period and monthly prize draws throughout.
Pick up your loyalty card at any Cornwall library and start collecting stamps today. And who knows? You might win a family day out exploring Cornwall’s maritime history with us at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
