Cornish writer and blogger, Elizabeth Dale (The Cornish Bird), uncovers some of the lesser-known stories from Cornwall’s history.

Connecting Cornwall to well-known and important episodes from the past can really bring history vividly to life for those living in this seemingly isolated corner of the UK. Cornish writer and Blogger, Elizabeth Dale, talks about the process of uncovering some of those stories and why we need to celebrate and preserve them.

She introduces some of her favourite female characters from around the Cornish coast, some you will have heard of some you probably won’t, and uses their stories to illustrate why she finds Cornwall’s history so endlessly fascinating and exciting.
