Dark Tales of the Cornish Coast

Join podcaster Keith Wallis (The Piskie Trap) as he explores a range of dark tales and traditions from all around the Cornish coast. From stories of smugglers, phantoms and shipwrecks, to fantastical creatures lurking beneath the waves. Keith will be delving into a mix of folk tales from locations around the Cornish coastline, how they’re linked to the darker side of history here in Cornwall, and our local storytelling traditions and customs.

Doors open at 7pm, with hot & cold drinks available from our Waterside Cafe.

Lecture starts at 7.30pm.

About Keith Wallis

Keith Wallis is host of The Piskie Trap, a podcast series exploring the folklore, history and legends from across Cornwall. His recent work has involved a number of collaborations with leading historians, writers, folklorists and storytellers, as part of a movement to preserve local folklore traditions, and to promote Cornish history and heritage.
