Museum Relaxed Session
Saturday 30th March 16:00 – 18:00
The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is welcoming anyone who might benefit from visiting the museum at a quieter time. Explore our galleries in a calm and relaxed environment, we will ensure all our sound levels are reduced. There will be a quiet space available away from our galleries and you are welcome to borrow our new sensory bags and ear-defenders. You can check out the museum through our Social Story and Sensory Map, available on our Accessibility Page on our website here.
These sessions are excellent for families sensitive to the needs of visitors with autistic spectrum disorder or other communication and sensory conditions, but are suitable for all – our staff are always friendly, aware and happy to help!
We would like to thank the brilliant people at Spectrum ASD for supporting us in this event.
