Get water wise with the RNLI as they take over the Museum for Water Safety Weekend! With awesome demonstrations and games, learn the techniques that can help keep you safe in the water and discover more about the RNLI’s important work.
May Half Term
Discover the Mini Monsters of the not so Deep as we team up with the Rock Pool Project. Each day there’ll be a chance to learn, touch and uncover more about the sea life in our Cornish waters.
Sunday 21 June
Can you create something shipshape from scrap? This Father’s Day build a boat and unleash your competitive side as you race them in the Boat Pool.
Sunday 4 October
Celebrate Grandparents day at the Museum and create a special piece of art for your grandparents to treasure.
To the Sea again is the latest exhibition by well-known Cornish artist and writer Robert Jones. Inspired by his childhood growing up on the wild and rugged North Coast of Cornwall and his time spent as a fishing skipper, Jones captures the dramatic nature of the sea in his paintings.
October Half Term
The nights are drawing in and the shadows are taking over. Come and join us for a spooky half term this October!

Dress as ghosts and ghouls and join us this Halloween for tricks and treats in the Museum.
